Bears LendingThese Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of bearslending.com (the "Site") and any application you submit through it. The Site is operated by Bears Lending, LLC ("Bears Lending," "we," "us"), 8800 Baymeadows Way, Suite 200, Jacksonville, FL 32256. By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
1. Nothing on the Site is an offer of credit
Rates, fees, amounts and terms shown on the Site are examples and ranges for the products we offer in Florida, Georgia and Alabama. They are not an offer to lend. Any loan is made only under a written agreement signed by you and Bears Lending, and that agreement controls if it differs from anything on the Site. Estimates from the calculator and estimator tools are for illustration only.
2. Eligibility
You may apply only if you are a resident of Florida, Georgia or Alabama; are at least 18 (Florida, Georgia) or 19 (Alabama); and provide accurate information. We may verify any information you provide, including through consumer reporting agencies where the product uses a credit inquiry, and may decline any application at our discretion consistent with applicable law.
3. Your account and security
If you create an online account you are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized use. We will never ask for your password by phone, text or email.
4. Electronic communications
By providing an email address or mobile number you agree that we may send account notices, payment reminders and servicing messages electronically, subject to the Electronic Consent you accept when applying. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to end marketing texts; servicing messages continue while a loan is open.
5. Acceptable use
- Do not submit false information or apply on behalf of another person without authority.
- Do not attempt to access other users' data, probe or disrupt the Site, or use automated tools to scrape or copy it.
- Do not use the Site for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms.
6. Intellectual property
The Site, its text, graphics, logos and software are owned by Bears Lending or its licensors and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use. Any other use requires our written permission.
7. Third-party links
The Site links to regulators, counseling agencies and review platforms we do not control. We are not responsible for their content or practices. Links are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement.
8. Disclaimers
The Site is provided "as is." We make reasonable efforts to keep rates and legal information accurate and current, and every rate page shows its last compliance review date, but we do not warrant that the Site is error-free or uninterrupted. Nothing on the Site is legal, tax or financial advice.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bears Lending is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the Site. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under your loan agreement or under state or federal consumer protection law.
10. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except that your loan agreement is governed by the law of the state in which the loan is made. Any dispute-resolution provision in your loan agreement applies to disputes about that loan.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new "last updated" date. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept it. Material changes affecting an open loan will be communicated as required by law.
